Opportunities for students wishing to switch from French to English education systems
Would you like to give your son/daughter the opportunity to study for UK iGCSE and GCE exams at an accredited Edecxel centre?
If your son/daughter has weak English-language skills, but a desire to transfer between systems, then our French 2 English Easter programme is an ideal opportunity for then to improve their English before joining The King’s School from April ’16.
When? Monday 4th – Friday 8th April (8am – 1pm)
Where? The King’s School – Secondary School on Avenue Due Large
Who? This course is available to students aged 11 – 16 years who have some basic conversational French and are already studying in an international programme
What? Depending on the language skills of the students, we will be offering three levels of tuition (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced). The day will include 3 x 1hr 30min sessions (plus supervised breaks) focusing on reading, writing, listening and conversation
Who With? A small and dedicated team with experience of students from non-English backgrounds will deliver this programme; being sensitive to the difficulties of switching systems and working in a second language
15,000 BIF per student per day or 60,000 BIF for the full week when booked in advance.
Costs include additional materials, snack and one drink.
